Spartan Kids Child Care Grant

We have not received notice of the outcome of our application to the Department of Education for child care funding support. The Child Care Access Means Parents in Schools (CCAMPIS) is a federal program of the U.S. Department of Education designed to support parents with the cost of quality child care. If we are funded, student parents will need to reapply for the 2017-2018 school year.  MSU students must be Pell grant eligible or be graduate or professional student who would otherwise be eligible using Pell grant income guidelines. Students must be enrolled in classes at MSU, not have a stay-at-home parent or provider and have their child enrolled in one of the nine affiliated licensed and accredited home or child care center.

You are encouraged to contact the Michigan Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program for information on possible child care support and the MSU Office of Financial Aid for additional information.
