Food Bank Information

The MSU Food bank will be open to give away produce and other items this coming Wednesday (March 18, 2020).

We want to ensure the safety of everyone working and receiving food therefore we are opening early at 4pm to try to spread out any potential lines or crowds. So please note we are open WEDNESDAY from 4pm-7:30pm.

If there are people in line ahead of you please keep your distance. If you see a cluster of people please wait back until the area is cleared. Once again we will be pre bagging items to give away. We will do our best to provide a list of bag contents in case there’s an item you don’t want, but please do not go through the bags and hand things back to us. If there’s something you don’t want let our gloved staff know and they can remove the items from the bags. Items given are per household and substitutions cannot be made. Again we will be stationed outside on the west end of Olin Health Center facing the parking ramp so there is no need for you to enter the health center.

If you are feeling ill PLEASE stay home. Also make sure you wash your hands before arriving. If you can’t make it or can’t send someone to get food for you, please let me know and we can coordinate an alternative.

We are doing our best to continue to accommodate those of you who are still here while keeping our staff and you safe. Giving away food outside in the open air with pre made bags will be how we distribute food until further notice.

Lastly, please take a few moments to take this short survey so we can get an idea of how many students still require our services.
